Our Mission
The Party Liberation Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is committed to fostering community artistry, creative education, diversity and inclusion, unique entertainment, and fire safety in Richmond, VA, and beyond. Through our multifaceted array of performances, workshops, events, grant programs, artist opportunities, and collaborations, we aim to empower individuals to explore their creativity, connect with their community, and ignite positive change.
Born from the vibrant Regional Burning Man community, PLF emerged as a collective of friends and creators in the Central East Coast area. Over time, this grassroots movement evolved into a nonprofit organization that has experienced significant growth and development thanks to our BOD’s leadership and committee initiatives.
If you’ve been around long enough to have heard of or partied with the “PLFront”, we’re thrilled to introduce to you to the evolution that is the “PLFoundation” non-profit org.
We are a collective of multi-talented creatives (for hire!)
Our community-based crew consists of a diverse array of talents, including artists, musicians, fire spinners, builders, DJs, producers, sculptors, dancers, aerialists, poets, teachers, painters, photographers, digital creators, projectionists, community organizers, writers, visionaries, designers, speakers, fabricators, choreographers, event coordinators, activists, and more. We firmly believe in balancing and supporting the accessibility of creative and cathartic experiences with the valid need for artists to have access to meaningful opportunities.
